Hui Hu is an Attorney-at-Law at Watson & Band. She is also a designated mediator for the Shanghai Intellectual Property Civil Dispute Professional Mediation Committee and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Intellectual Property Protection Association Mediation Committee. 

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Hu spent six years at a comprehensive intellectual property service organization, where she specialized in IP portfolio management and valuation analysis for technology-driven enterprises. Her work on several high-stakes valuation cases was recognized as exemplary by courts and procuratorates, providing her with deep, practical industry experience. 

Since 2020, Ms. Hu has developed a robust practice advising on intellectual property, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and employment law. She represents a diverse clientele that includes large state-owned enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals. She is noted for her unique three-pronged approach that integrates proactive risk mitigation, litigation relief, and mediation to deliver tailored, business-centric legal solutions. This method enables clients to align commercial objectives with legal strategy, effectively managing risk while maximizing enterprise value. 

As a part-time mediator, Ms. Hu has successfully resolved hundreds of intellectual property disputes before the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court. In recognition of her exceptional performance, she was named an "Excellent Mediator" by the Shanghai Intellectual Property Civil Dispute Professional Mediation Committee for two consecutive years. One of her mediation cases was selected for inclusion in Experiences and Cases of Diversified Mediation of Intellectual Property Disputes (2021-2022)—a joint publication by the National Intellectual Property Administration and the Supreme People's Court—and was subsequently archived in the People's Court's national case library for diversified dispute resolution.
