Yang Xu graduated from Tsinghua University School of Law and School of Public Policy and Management. He studied abroad at Waseda University in Japan, where he obtained a Ph.D. in Law. For many years, he has been providing services in the field of foreign-related law, especially excelling in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investment and financing, and legal matters related to Chinese enterprises investing in Japan and Southeast Asia.

Lawyer Xu focuses on cross-border trade compliance (technology, data, and export control compliance), commercial dispute resolution, intellectual property and corporate governance, and enforcement. He has participated in many projects involving foreign enterprises investing in China, mergers and acquisitions, withdrawal and liquidation, and data compliance. He has also assisted numerous Chinese enterprises in establishing entities or completing investments in Japan and Southeast Asia, providing ongoing legal support for the daily operations and commercial disputes of their overseas subsidiaries.
