Ms. Yang holds a master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry for Life Sciences from Nanjing University. She joined Watson & Band in 2017 and became a patent practitioner since then. She became a licensed patent attorney and attorney-at-law in 2020.
Ms. Yang has extensive experience on patent drafting, responding to office actions, patent re-examination in fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life science, and successfully helped the clients’ hundreds of patent applications granted in China. She also provides professional advice and legal opinion on patent infringement and patent validity/invalidity, and trade secret issues. Clients that she served include international renowned companies such as IOVANCE, Takeda Pharmaceutical, OSE Immunotherapeutics, Institut Pasteur, Borealis AG, and GE, and domestic universities and startups in the field such as Fudan University, East China University of Sci-Tec, and Belief BioMed.
